Printer issues *sigh*
May. 18th, 2007 08:12 pmDue to a sudden bout of general malaise, we've switched to Ubuntu for now. We couldn't get Windows to load anymore, but this is running fine. Found out our printer/scanner (Canon MF3220), which is wonderful in itself, does not like to run under something non-Windows though. Went online, poked around, looked at computer, poked around some more, gave up, logged onto LJ and here I am, asking for help.
Pretty please with fried crickets on top?
Update: Nokey was here on Saturday and poked around some more while I fed him syrup waffles and cinnamon tea. He didn't get the printer to work but he did fix various other issues. The only fix we've found so far involves setting up a network and it seems like a lot of trouble to go through to get a printer to work.
