It seems I have managed to find something to feel guilty about...again. This whole livejournal thing is very nice, and to my great surprise, my rant about maille was even of use to someone. But is is something that needs to be written in, and something added to my to-do list.

On the whole, I am not an insanely busy person. This may be directly tied to the fact that I *am* a person with a very long to-do list. I'm still looking for a job, but I am unsuccessful so far. I do a reasonable amount of school work, but most of my time is taken up by Internet use and creative endeavours. I follow discussions on the Lord of the Rings movie costume Yahoo group, the Dutchelfwood forum, the Moonblade e-group, the Vortex lrp group forum, pagga.net and occasionally those on the forums of other lrp groups, the Elf Fantasy Shop forum, the Omnia forum and the Dumnoni forum. That sounds like a lot, now that I write it down, but unless posting goes crazy on lotr_costume (which is kind of high volume at the best of times), I need only one or two hours a day. Which, in my opinion, isn't too bad. The real time consuming stuff are conversations on MSN, which is why I don't have it on all that often.

Creative stuff isn't nearly as structured. I may be weaving rings one minute, get up to make tea and start doing sketches for a costume, forgetting all about my rings. I've managed to make money selling maille jewelry in between weaving my own shirt...which I've been working on for a year, and still isn't finished. I do finish things, but usually right before a deadline, and I seem to start more than I finish. It does mean that when I do finish something, I can't help feeling proud about it, and forgetting about how long I've put it off:)
