On Friday, my parents had yet to return from France and I was greeted by Lola, our pet rabbit. She wanted a cuddle, and then she wanted to go outside, and I could cater to both wishes, and she was a very happy bunny. She doesn't deal with being alone well, rabbits are social animals and she's used to having people around her, being an 'indoor bunny' (like an indoor-only cat only more prone to chewing on your oak furniture).

Twilight arrived on Friday and we cuddled, watched tv etc., and decided to hit the hay early as we both had places to go on Saturday morning. So on Saturday, we felt ok about getting up reasonably early for a change:) Twi went to the fabric market, and I went to Dumnoni Chronicles' NPC briefing. I hurt my foot just before I got there, and at first it didn't hurt all that much. I just put my foot down wrong and my ankle got twisted or something, in any case, it didn't seem bad. But when the briefing was over and I got up...that was interesting, to say the least. One of the NPC's dropped me off at the railway station on the way back, but I had to walk the last bit to my parents' house. I asked Twi not to pick me up because he gets this look on his face when I'm hurt and he can't fix it. But he took good care of me for the rest of the day, and the next. I couldn't walk well and I had to keep my foot up most of the time, so I needed the help (even though I hated to admit it). My dad dropped us off at the station om Sunday night and the rest went ok...I never was so pleased with the building having elevators.

Yesterday, I spent vegging on the couch. I have a small couch that's positioned with the tv facing the arm rest, so I tend to spend a lot of time laying on the couch with my feet hanging over the edge of the arm rest. It's very comfy that way, and I only needed an extra pillow to raise my foot up a bit higher. One of my housemates agreed to do my grocery shopping for me, so I could just stay where I was unless I needed to prepare some food. Between Robert Jordan (WoT4) and Sci-Fi Night, it was a hundred time more agreeable than I feared it would be. My foot is a bit better now, walking hurts a lot less than it did. I think I do need to keep using ice packs every now and then, and give it rest. I can feel it start to swell now, so I should probably go home and put my foot up for a bit before I start dinner. I think that in a week or two, it'll be healed, but I'll take it easy for a bit just to make sure.
